"Little Grebe Observation Diary" is now a video

Little Grebe in Inokashira Park, which I continued to observe from 2017 to 2018.

Previously in this blog, I covered it as "Little Grebe Observation Diary" and "Continued, Little Grebe Observation Diary".

This video, "Making a Nest That Never Gives Up," is a compilation of the little grebes that bred near the gourd bridge in Inokashira Park in 2018, which was featured in the blog "Continued, Little Grebe Observation Diary."

As the first video of Little Grebe,

Little Grebe Parenting, Chapter 1 "Building a Nest That Never Gives Up"

For the time being, I'm planning to make it someday, but I'm hoping that I can make up to Chapter 3, so I'll add it to Chapter 1.

This video featured a pair of children raised near Gourd Bridge in 2018.

This year (2018), this pair of territories near the gourd bridge spawned the earliest in Inokashira Park.

However, unfortunately, the nest was washed away just before the chicks hatched, and the eggs and all of them completely collapsed.

I haven't seen it collapsed, so I can't say anything about it, but I hear that it was killed by a turtle. (Details unknown)

After overcoming such hardships, I hurriedly built a new nest and started over from scratch, so I was able to safely hatch and raise chicks.
