"I climbed Mt. Fuji!" Part 2, from the trailhead, let's climb! !! !!

Yesterday I couldn't upload my blog and it went down.

To wake up today, I ran about 13 kilometers on my bicycle and got excited to write a blog.

Rather than writing, I will paste the photo.

We recommend that you do not see it if you plan to climb Mt. Fuji in the future or if you want to enjoy the scenery you see for the first time.

Continuing from yesterday

It feels very good to go through the forest belt under the blue sky

The beginning is a gentle climb.

The air is cool and comfortable in the blue sky.

I'm in good physical condition

The whole body is full of power, the beauty of the blue sky, and the refreshingness of the wind! Twice

Goose bumps with so much comfort.

"Climb !!!!"

It's only 5.2km to the top of the mountain, but it takes about 6 hours, which suggests that the road is steep.

I got off the bus and walked about 1.7 km from the 5th station of Fuji Subaru Line.

From now on, all you have to do is climb in a zigzag.

It's about 10 o'clock now, so I wonder if it will arrive around 16 o'clock.

The road is very well maintained.

Turn back in a zigzag pattern over and over again to raise the altitude.

From here, the one-way mountain trail for climbing and the trail for descending are on the far left side in this photo.

If you turn around the mountain trail several times and climb up, you will see Lake Kawaguchiko, which is hazy, but it is a nice view.

Blessed with good weather, I feel great!

The load of luggage is very comfortable.

Step by step slowly and climb.

Climbing Kilimanjaro is always called "Pole Pole!" In Swahili.

It means to climb "slowly and slowly".

It took five days to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Anyway, it is important to climb at a slow pace that is sustainable for hours without rest.

Tiredness is minimized, and you can climb without rest, so it's fast overall.

That's why the young climbers who overtook the caretaker were fluttering immediately ahead, and each one was sure to overtake.

It was never pulled back later.

It only stops when hydrating and replenishing energy.

Frequent hydration while walking.

If you neglect to replenish energy, you will be hitting the wall.

I have no energy or power at all.

Once this happens, it will take time to revive.

Especially when it comes to water and dehydration, it is difficult to recover.

Looking up, there are many mountain lodges.

You can see many mountain lodges. The light seen from Uratakao is probably the lighting of these mountain lodges.

It can be seen that there are many climbers.

It's almost a mountain lodge. It stands on a rocky place.

As the hut approached, the easy-to-walk path of the volcanic bomb changed completely, and I had to walk on a rugged rock.

There should be no problem with mountain climbing shoes with a hard sole, but it is very difficult to climb rocks because the shoes have a soft sole.

I hope the soles of my shoes don't come off, but I climb carefully so that my shoes don't break.

How rocky is it? It's hard to walk.

Climb slowly and earnestly.

I arrived at the 7th station.

The air was thinner and tastier.

I arrived at the 7th station. The line of sight is already low clouds. But the future is still long. 2720m

Pass through the 7th station without rest and aim for further improvement.

It feels good to keep walking.

If you get tired, slow down a little and adjust.

The summit is still far away.

It was lunchtime at the 8th station, so we had a lunch break.

Replenish your body with the two boiled eggs you brought, the retort curry, and the bread.

House retort curry This is quite delicious.

It was the correct answer to make it medium spicy instead of dry.

After lunch, when you feel calm, aim for a higher level.

Looking down from the 8th station, there are many zigzag roads, a road that has been climbed step by step.

When you look down, you can see the mountain trail that you have climbed.

I've climbed a fairly long distance.

The summit was also visible very close. From the 8th station (elevation 3400 meters)

I'd like to replenish more water, but I brought only 2.5 liters.

Drink a little.

Everywhere on the mountain trail above the 5th station of Mt. Fuji, the fee for one toilet is 200 yen (2018).

Here at the 8th station, a 500ml PET bottle drink is 500 yen.

You have to be absent to save money.

But, conversely, it's a mountain that can be empty-handed if you have the money.

Winter clothes, mountain climbing shoes, headlamps.

You can get anything.

It is possible to come empty-handed, shop here and climb the mountain.

Well, another breath.

It's late so I'm here today.

to be continued
