Continuing from the last time
I climbed Mt. Fuji for the first time in my life, so I will introduce that in this blog.
I climbed at the end of August 2018.
This time is the third!
It's just shredded.
At 14:12, take another breath to the top at an altitude of 3440 meters.
Beyond 3000 meters, I feel the air is getting thinner.
Since the air pressure drops and the air resistance during breathing decreases, you can inhale lightly.
It's easy to think that breathing is difficult when the air becomes thin, but it's actually easier because you can breathe with less resistance.
It's a different story from being out of breath due to lack of oxygen.
Pneumatic pressure at the top of Mt. Fuji is discounted by 3 from the sea level,
50% off the air on the highest peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895 meters) that you have climbed so far.
Breathing was much smoother on Mount Kilimanjaro.
You can inhale the air that fills your lungs in an instant.
Even if my nose is clogged, I don't really care.
Is it just about 1700 meters, about Nairobi?
I've lived in Nairobi for a while, and sometimes when I go near the sea, the air is too thick and I find it difficult to breathe.
On the plateau, "the air is delicious!" And the fact that the air is not polluted is gone, but I think the reason for the deliciousness is the faintly thin air.
The mountaintop is right there.
But the true peak of Japan's highest peak is still ahead.
A lion and a torii near the top of the mountain
It seems that a lion is welcoming you to celebrate the climber's climb.
I look back and look down on the road I climbed.
The lodge has become very small under my eyes.
You can see the mountain path that you climbed from near the top of the mountain, and when you look down from above, you can feel the difference in elevation rather than looking up from below.
This time I was blessed with good weather and was able to climb the mountain road while enjoying the view.
If it's cloudy and you don't have a good view, it may be a pain to climb a mountain path with only stones that you can't feel any creatures.
It's the worst if it's raining.
The highest point you can see in the back is the summit of Mt. Fuji at an altitude of 3776 meters.
Turn counterclockwise around the crater and aim for the highest point, the summit of Mt. Fuji.
On the right side of the road, the Fuji crater and colorful rocks are exposed.
If you climb this road, you will reach the summit of Mt. Fuji, the highest point in Japan!
This last slope is unexpectedly slippery despite being fairly steep and dry.
This is the summit of Mt. Fuji, the highest peak in Japan.
"Yeah, it's the summit!"
I continued to climb and finally reached the summit of Mt. Fuji.
However, I was a little disappointed when I reached the top of Mt. Fuji.
I wondered if there was a view, but there was no view on one side of the building of the Japan Meteorological Agency.
Another disappointment was that the summit of Mt. Fuji was not a first-class triangulation station, but a second-class triangulation station.
"What is it?"
Is this still the best in Japan! !! !! I thought.
It feels like a place that isn't the best in Japan and isn't a big deal.
That's why I'm not impressed even though I'm at the highest point in Japan.
Doesn't the building on the right look like something?
A living space created to protect the observers from the harsh environment where the wind speed reaches 90 meters.
It is said that the Shinkansen was made of aluminum alloy with twice the scale.
It was completed in 1973, and the year it was born was with the caretaker.
Behind it is a building with a meteorological observation radar.
Monitor typhoons for a long time
Since I reached the top of the mountain, I was able to achieve my biggest goal this time.
By the way, where do you sleep today?
I brought a sleeping bag and food, so I decided to go down while looking for a bed.

to be continued
It will be completed in the next.
