I'm neglecting to write a blog.
I will write about when I went to see the stars with a little energy.
What happened to the goshawk and the little grebe! It is said, but please forgive me.
That's why we call the title of the blog "selfish". (cold sweat)
Please wait until it will be uploaded soon.
Finally, it cleared up for an hour and a half at dawn! A perfect starry sky. Karuizawa
Before and after the new moon, the sky is dark and the stars can be seen well.
However, in the city, the sky is bright and almost no stars can be seen.
If the sky becomes clearer in winter, we will be able to see some stars.
Still, it was known at best.
On the night before and after the new moon, when I look up at the night sky, which is completely polluted by the light pollution of Tokyo, I feel uncomfortable.
My heart may have become muddy like this.
As I walk through the crowds of the city, I realize that I am not the only one who is muddy.
At times like this, I wish I could be in a place where I could see the sky that wasn't so dirty with light.
If you close your eyes, the sky full of stars will spread in your mind.
For some reason, I can hear hyenas, lions howling, and zebras.
In the distance, the hippo barks!
So, for different reasons, let's see five old men and one young man see the stars in the dark sky! Gathered.
The destination is Karuizawa, a one-night trip to Hoshimi.
On the day of departure, the weather seems to be gradual from the morning.
We took two cars, three people each, and headed for the destination.
The more you go along the Kan-etsu Expressway, the stronger the rain legs become, and even though it is approaching noon, the clouds become thicker and darker.
It seems that the inside of the party's chest is also cloudy.
Looking at the forecast, it seems that it may be a little sunny.
I just keep in mind that the clouds will clear up.
This time we stayed instead of staying in the car.
He leaves the schedule, arrangements, and driving to himself, and he is in the state of goldfish droppings.
Sometimes such a trip is not bad.
However, it is a ball that does not become anything.
Accommodation is here. A certain place in Karuizawa.
I stayed in the upper hut.
In a place like this, no matter how much it rains, the wind blows, or the storm, you can spend a pleasant time inside.
It is guaranteed that if the old men get together, it will be a banquet.
What is worrisome is getting drunk and sleeping under the starry sky.
I just want to avoid that.
In the evening, the clouds in the sky were slightly dyed red through the gaps between the thin clouds that covered the sky.
The light of the sun before it set on the west horizon hit the clouds in the sky.
It means that the west sky is missing.
Expectations swell.
However, clouds spread all over the sky and it seems unlikely that it will clear up at all.
For the time being, I decided to go to a nearby hot spring and relax my body before the banquet started.
Even so, there are many clouds in the Japanese sky.
It's an island country surrounded by the sea, so it can't be helped.
The banquet continues, checking the sky from time to time, but after midnight, the caretaker and the four people, excluding the young people, take a nap.
For the time being, the manager decided not to give up his expectations until morning and not go to bed.
After 3 o'clock, there was a sunny day in the clouds. The figure with Orion emerges.
Put udon in a pot, boil it many times and eat it repeatedly, and your stomach is full and your body is warm.
I forgot to buy soy sauce and salt, so the taste becomes lighter and lighter each time I boil it.
Only the first pot is seasoned.
After 3:00 in the morning when about two-thirds of the 1.8-liter pack of wine was gone, the appearance of Orion was seen through the break in the clouds.
The transparency is very good after the rain.
Wake everyone up and start shooting!
Orion and the nebula were also well captured.
The photo above is Orion on the right.
It's small, but it's a good shape, and it's a constellation that stands out anyway.
The ancient people would have seen it in the same way.
Anyway, I always point the camera first.
Orange Betelgeuse on the top and blue Rigel on the bottom.
The bright star in the lower left is Sirius, the brightest star in the sky.
The red light beam seen above the center is the Rosette Nebula in the constellation Unicorn.
The Barnard's Loop surrounding the left side of Orion is also emerging.
It's a very, very gorgeous view.
The lens used in the photo above is a Nikon 50mm f1.2 manual lens.
This Ai Nikkor 50mm f1.2 S is an old lens, but it looks good.
One of the caretaker's favorite lenses.
The color is cold and astringent, unlike recent lenses.
Lenses are often compared to the taste of fruits, but if you compare this lens to the taste of fruits, there is almost no acidity and it is uniformly sweet (sharp). I think there is also. (Color development, aberration, etc.)
The photo above, the aperture gives 2.8, 1 minute exposure.
Kenko Kai Memo T is used for tracking.
Bright stars have a moderate amount of halo and the shape of the constellations is well understood.
I wonder if this would require a soft filter.
The filter diameter is 52 mm, which is extremely small compared to recent Dodeca lenses, so the drop in peripheral illumination at the four corners is a little severe.
It would be great if it was an APS-sized image circle.
Even so, the camera I'm using is old and I wonder if it's time to renew it.
But I'm in good shape and I can't go there yet.
Looking toward the northern sky, the Big Dipper on the right, Cassiopeia on the left, and the North Star.
This time, when I turned my viewpoint to the northern sky, I could see the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia at the same time.
This starry sky can never be seen in Kenya south of the equator.
The Tamron 15-30mm lens I borrowed this time is a very sharp and excellent lens.
The star image is very small up to the periphery of the screen.
It's nice to be sharp, but when shooting stars, it's very difficult to understand the shape of the constellations because the bright and dark stars appear in the same way.
It is better to have a soft filter to take a constellation, but since the front ball is protruding, the filter cannot be attached.
It's not impossible to attach a huge and expensive plate filter, but it's not very practical.
It seems that I have to devise something myself and attach it to the back.
I thought I'd change the lens and take the next starry sky, but the night sky was already slightly bright and the stars were dull.
The twilight has already begun.
Because I tried to shoot the night sky with the unfamiliar GH5, it was difficult to focus on the LCD, the glare of the power lamp, and I wasted time. It would be nice if the LCD blinding rays could be dimmed so that they could be seen even at night.
I wish it would clear up sooner, but is that a luxury?
Anyway, I should be glad that it cleared up even a little.
Next time, I'll post about the continuation of this trip and Tamron's new lenses.
