Contrary to expectations, solar activity is active!

Updated: Aug 11, 2022

Betraying the predictions of the sun, NASA, etc. these days, the activity has become quite active.

For the time being, in this blog, I have summarized some sun photos when a large sunspot occurred in the past year.

The author, the maintainer of this blog, lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Recently, I have been watching the changes in sunspots as a hobby.

The sun on January 30, 2022

The source of life, the sun

The sun that I have covered several times before.

It is the source of life for all living things.

The special effects San Vulcan that the caretaker used to see when he was in the lower grades of elementary school.

From the theme song, it is a song that taught the caretaker of Gakincho the gratitude of the sun.

I still remember the lyrics.

"If there were no sun or stars

The earth freezes instantly ...

The sun is he, the star of life,

The flame that protects happiness ... "

Even now, I think the lyrics accurately express the gratitude of the sun.

When I looked it up, it was broadcast from 1981, around the second grade of elementary school.

In the 1600s, Galileo began using astronomical telescopes, making it possible to observe even the smallest details of celestial bodies.

Since then, of course, small changes in sunspots have been observed by astronomical telescopes.

Inquisitive mind, human sexuality (saga).

The sun regularly repeats its activity by activating and weakening it in a cycle of about 11 years, and now it is only two years since the 25th period.

The record of sunspot observations started in the 1700s, and the activity period that started in 1755 was set to 1, and now it is the 25th time.

It is said that the 25th term was entered in December 2019.

There are many places on the net, so if you are interested, please check it out.

I feel like I wrote such a thing before.

I'm sorry for throwing ...

25th period of solar activity, which was predicted to be weak

What I wanted to take up this time was that NASA and the observatory also predicted that the solar activity this time would be very weak and the weakest in the history of observation, but in reality it seems that it is not.

Even if it is a prediction, there is only a little solar observation data for the past 300 years.

It will not be possible to make a big prediction by comparing it with short-term data.

It's a world where there can be unexpected twists and turns.

Well, like that

In the 25th period of solar activity this time, many sunspots are occurring, and it seems that they are also increasing rapidly.

It is a well-established theory that sunspots gradually increase and decrease when the active period begins.

This time, the sunspots are increasing rapidly.

The sunspot was big as soon as the 25th term started

If it was sunny, the manager would take pictures of the surface of the sun every day as much as possible.

There are already more than 100 days of sunspot photos.

So, I've listed some photos of the sun when the big black spots taken by the caretaker appear below.

The photo is composited to give the sun a three-dimensional effect.

The darker the area, the more the atmosphere (chromosphere) on the surface of the sun blocks light.

Such subtle changes in brightness were also emphasized by compositing.

Being a cameraman, it feels good to have a three-dimensional effect.

In 2020, the days of sunspots continued for quite some time.

In late November, a fairly large sunspot appeared in the Sun, the Southern Hemisphere.

That is the photo below.

Isn't this the black spot of signs of active activity in the 25th term?

It is a large sunspot that reached its minimum in December 2019 and occurred less than a year after the start of the 25th term.

The sun at 16:41 (+3) on November 27, 2020

All filming locations are Nairobi, Republic of Kenya.

The time difference with Japan is minus 6 hours, and you can add 6 hours to convert to Japan time.

The photo above is 22:41 Japan time.

It's the sun of time that can't be seen from Japan.

It may be interesting to compare it with space weather news online.

In the photo above, the largest sunspot in the lower left is the 2786 sunspot group.

The shades at the top are caused by thin clouds.

It is not bad that the north does not come out firmly.

Next is

The sun on June 30, 2021

A large sunspot also appeared on the sun on June 30, 2021.

Sunspot number 2835

When these sunspots move to the other side of the sun, they sometimes become sunspot-free.

It looks like the sunspots are moving on the surface of the sun little by little as they grow and shrink. It may be an active part of the surface of the sun.

Such sunspots may or may not be visible from the earth on the rotation of the sun.

Well, in fact, it's not that simple.

So, two weeks before that, the appearance of the sun as seen from the earth on June 13, 2021

The sun on June 13, 2021

Black spots can be seen at the northwestern and upper left corners, but the others are almost flat.

Like this, sunspots were seen only in a narrow area of the sun.

It can be seen that the active part was only a part of the surface of the sun.

And just a few days ago, the sunspot on January 30th

Sunspots on January 30, 2022

In early 2022, a large sunspot occurred in the Northern Hemisphere.

I noticed it after shooting, but this is the appearance of the solar flare just occurring.

It is said that a medium-scale solar flare with a mass ejection occurred from a large sunspot above at 22:30 on the 29th.

The photo above shows sunspots 9 hours after the occurrence of medium-scale flares.

It will reach the earth on February 2nd, a few days later.

I'm writing this blog right now.

I compared the size of sunspots with the earth

The blue one is the size of the earth. The diameter is 1/109 of the sun.

The scale is too different compared to sunspots and the earth.

The blue circle is a reduced image of the sun to 1/109, with the colors reversed and pasted so that the size of the earth can be accurately reproduced.

Black streaks extend from the sunspots, and these fine patterns are probably due to the swirling lines of magnetic force.

Sun 5 hours before flare

When I tried to shoot, there were a lot of clouds and I couldn't shoot without the clouds.

Before that, it was clear, but ...

There is no big difference at first glance

Compared to the photo taken on January 30, the sun's rotation can be seen from the movement of the sunspots. Approximately north on the photo.

The change in sunspots can be clearly seen by magnifying and comparing them.

The GIF image below compares before and after flare occurs.

It was a little blurry due to the sun over the clouds, but you can see the change in the shape of the sunspots before and after the magnetic field was released by the flare.

Sunspot change that feels like something open

Of course, the expansion rate is exactly the same. Since it is almost in front, there is almost no distortion due to the rotation of the sun.

I feel that the flares are released, the sunspots become larger, and it seems that they are far from each other.

It's just a delusion of the caretaker, but after the flare, it feels like the accumulated things have been released.

It seems that the magnetic field that stretched vertically above the surface of the sun stretched out and was torn off, and then spread horizontally.

It feels like the rubber band is stretched and cut.

The delusion of looking at the sun is similar to the delusion of looking at wild animals.

Delusions are constantly swirling in my head while filming.

About two weeks ago, on January 16th, a lot of small sunspots appeared, so I will introduce them.

Many small black spots occurred on January 16, 2022

A number of small sunspots appeared.

The sun's rotation cycle is about 27 days, so it's the sunspot behind the big sunspot above.

Many sunspots have begun to appear just behind the large sunspots.

It seems that the entire surface of the sun has become active.

Unexpectedly, the 25th solar cycle may be the opposite of what many experts expect.

You can't tell what will happen until you become a sunspot.

If you think it will grow, it will become smaller, and if you think it will disappear, it will grow larger.

A world where even experts betray their predictions.

So it's interesting to watch.

Living sun, connected sun

Looking at the sun makes me feel like I'm looking at a living thing.

It is also a creature that lives ridiculously long.

When a big sunspot comes out, something gets excited.

It may be because we are observing it, but it may not be the only one.

During the period of active solar activity, human blood seems to make noise, and various revolutions and turmoil will occur.

It may be because the number of sunspots increases and the number of energy bodies coming from the sun increases, which contributes to the excitement and excitement of the caretaker's blood.

It is said that it is related not only to humans but also to the magnetic field of the earth, earthquakes, etc.

It is said that the number of lightning strikes is linked to the 27th of the sun's rotation.

It makes sense to think that the big sunspots are linked to going beyond the sun and coming here.

When solar activity becomes stronger, magnetic storms and other things can destroy artificial satellites, interfere with communications, and cause various troubles for human activities.

On the contrary, even if it becomes weak, a large amount of super-powerful cosmic rays will fall on the earth, forming thick clouds, unseasonable weather, drought, famine, etc., and it seems to bring trouble again.

I hope it's just right, but I'm sure that such an idea is also human arrogance.

Looking back on the heavy rains that caused floods around the world over the last two years, the solar activity is very weak, and it coincides with the long period of sunspot-free days.

By the way, if the solar activity continues to be active, will unseasonable weather continue?

It's pretty interesting so I'll keep an eye on it.

Perhaps it has already begun, the geomagnetism has been weakening all the time.

This geomagnetism, like the shield of the earth, prevents the direct hit of high-energy particles falling from space and the sun.

It is said that such geomagnetism has been weakening since the observation.

Geomagnetism that the north and south poles switch every hundreds of thousands of years.

Hundreds of thousands of years have been experienced by creatures on earth many times.

There seems to be no problem because life has experienced many times to survive.

In today's civilized world, where everything has been replaced by electronic ones, various troubles are likely to occur.

What happens if the sun's huge flare and mass emission hit the earth directly when the geomagnetism disappears? Even if there is geomagnetism, it is a dangerous event.

Various things are likely to occur, such as the loss of control of nuclear power plants, the annihilation of artificial satellites, and the madness of humans with embedded chips.

Still, no matter what, as long as the earth remains on the earth, it will be overcome.

The caretaker thinks so.

In such a situation, the old-fashioned analog crisis may save humanity.

for now.
